Job Description:
United States Steel Corporation has an immediate opening for a Management Associate in the North American Flat Rolled Marketing department, located at the company headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh, PA. A Management Associate is an entry-level position that provides exposure to various aspects of U.S. Steel’s marketing department as well as interaction with multiple functional groups within the corporation. Responsibilities include the following:
•Assists with daily reporting requirements tracking customer shipments and profitability
•Develops Ad Hoc reports based on leadership requests by extracting information from data warehouses using Cognos, SQL and other Business Intelligence tools
•Organizes large amounts of data to improve business processes
•Monitors daily report executions and accuracy
•Assists in both short range and strategic plan data collaboration
•Programs customer pricing in Oracle Advanced Pricing
•Provides information to various levels of management as required
•Supports the organizations ongoing ERP implementation
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Services, Business, Engineering or related field
•Candidate must have 0-3 years of professional work experience.
•Completion of computer language courses and functional knowledge of SQL
•Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel and Access
•Solid interpersonal skills, as well as oral and written communication skills
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Oracle E- Business Suite knowledge preferred
