Attention all AMA club members!

The following are important dates regarding the AMA club so read carefully!

The AMA Collegiate Marketing Summit is Friday, October 4 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Chatham University. This is an excellent networking opportunity! Speakers will include Paul Carbone (sales and marketing director for UPMC), Adam Golumb (director of marketing for Giant Eagle) and Linda Nyman (co-owner and marketing director of Penn Brewery). Breakfast and lunch are provided and the entire event is FREE! I strongly urge all of you who are available to attend to do so!! Let me know by October 1 if you are able to go.

On Saturday, October 12, the Higher Education Climate Consortium is having their Rebuild Pittsburgh event in Homewood, PA from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to earn SET credits! If you are able to attend, please let me know by no later than October 2.

At the Homecoming football game on October 19, we will have a table set up during the tailgate prior to the game where we will be raffling off a large gift basket. We are looking for volunteers to work 1 hour shifts between noon and 6:00 PM, two volunteers per hour. Let me know when you are available and I will send out a schedule in the next couple of weeks. We will pack up the table before the game starts so you won't miss any of it! Also, if you are available, please remember that you are representing AMA at a large university function, and you will need to be on your best professional behavior!

Don't forget to keep selling Yankee Candles! Forms are due to Luke Sweeney no later than October 14. He will have a table set up in Romo's between 12:15 PM and 3:00 PM to collect any outstanding forms. Any orders turned in after 10/14 will not be filled!

The deadline for outstanding dues has been extended to Tuesday, October 1. If you need to get in touch with Stephanie to set up a time to turn in your dues, her email is srmst22@mail.rmu.edu.

Last but not least, our next meeting is Wednesday, October 16 at 8:50 PM in Business 119. As always, we will provide pizza! Stay tuned for more information concerning the meeting!
